Early morning qualifying at Brands Hatch. My only ever race on the full Grand Prix Circuit.
The race started wet - my first time on full racing wet tyres
Knickerbrook at Oulton Park
The wonderful Cadwell Park...
...Taking off at the Mountain
Finishing the race. I've no idea what position I was in - I was just enjoying myself!
Monoposto again. This time at the Mallory Park Hairpin...
...and desperately trying to stop after taking Paul Hogarth at the Donington Chicane
In the Monoposto races we could run on slick tyres. On hot days they were great and the car would really stick to the road. If the weather was on the chilly side it was better to run on the Formula Ford tyres. The PRS wasn't designed to run on slick tyres and occasionally we had problems generating enough heat into the rubber to make them work properly. If they were hot enough, corners that once needed a lift of the throttle could be taken flat out. If the tyres stayed cool it was almost like driving on ice!
Woodcote corner at Silverstone during practice - and it was about to get very noisy!
