From the moment a stepped foot into the race track at Crystal Palace, as a teenager in the summer of 1969, I became hooked on Motor Racing.

In 1972 I started Marshaling, at Brands Hatch to begin with, but later primarily at Silverstone and the newly re-opened Donington, with the odd visit to Mallory Park and Oulton Park.

In 1979 I took the plunge and brought my first race car, a 750 Formula DNC Mk9. In 1982 I moved on to Formula Ford with the ex Chris Reynalds PRS RH01.

These photos of my racing exploits have been taken by various trackside photographers and friends.

The following are a selection of photos taken by myself over the last 40 odd years. As I was a Marshal from 1973 to 1979 most from that period are taken in the Paddock while off duty. Others are from race meetings when I went as a spectator or as a competitor.
